Stan Hester - Guest Instructor

After too many years of working in the corporate world Stan decided to pursue his lifelong ambition of working in the photography field, which was always his first love.

After graduating from Mercer University in Atlanta with a B.A. in Communications he worked in the production department at WATL TV in Atlanta. While employed there, he attended Southeastern Center for the Photographic Arts.  Internationally published, he has worked in three countries and over twenty states in the past six years.

He enjoys teaching and coaching other photographers and sharing his knowledge with them. As a full time photographer for the past six years some of his corporate employers include AT&T, Caterpillar Tractor, WATL, Boy Scouts of America, Kia, Toyo Tires, The Zac Brown Band, Carhartt Clothing, Lowes, State of Georgia,  Road Atlanta, Tropical Smoothie Café, Friendly’s Ice Cream, Lowes, Formula Drift,  A Time to Build, AMA,  Leader Enterprises, Burton Racing, NCR, Integrity Resources, Kings Hawaiian, Baxter Pharmaceuticals, Cinderella’s Closet, The Motorcycle Superstore and  Lanier Tech.

His interest in hiking and the outdoors has always led to an appreciation of the beauty of nature. Digital photography has provided new and interesting avenue to expand his photographic opportunities and outdoor photography knowledge base.
